Delving into the world of previously unissued soul music is like finding the top of a pyramid buried beneath the sand. With America being such a vast continent, and taking into account soul music from the uk and beyond, its obvious the hopes and dreams of many an artists, record label or producer are buried beneath that sand, lying dusty waiting to be discovered.
Here at Super Disco Edits we take great pride and joy finding such talented people who for one reason or another decided music wasn't paying the bills. Wether they were disillusioned by the cut throat business of record companies and executives taking all the royalties for their craft, or their chance at stardom halted when compositions didn't quite hit the right note within the current market.
Through detective work, phone calls, going through countless old photos we aim to bring you some of the best previously unissued music you have yet to hear! Taking time to treat and transfer old studio reels through a baking process we strive to get the best files we can to cut to vinyl. No stone is left unturned with high class engineering and mastering to bring these wonderful lost recordings to a whole new audience.
